Why a Threads download may fail
A public-looking link does not guarantee that Threads exposes the media to this service.
Check the original post
Open the original post to confirm it still exists. Private, deleted or login-only posts may not be available. A text-only post has no photo or video to download.
Temporary source errors
Threads may temporarily limit requests or change how media is delivered. Wait and retry rather than repeatedly submitting the same link. The tool shows an error when it cannot retrieve the actual media.
Expired links and file limits
Refresh the result when its ten-minute download links expire. Recovery links remain valid for seven days. Files larger than 120 MB cannot be downloaded through this service.
